Founder of EduGateway USA

My name is Jiajin Xie, and I’m currently a Grade 11 student at Pickering College. Growing up, my favorite story has always been about perseverance—it taught me that overcoming challenges requires a strong and resilient spirit, something I strive to embody in everything I do.

Academically, I’m passionate about math, which I find both challenging and rewarding. This passion for problem solving fuels my interest in pursuing finance or economics at university, with the ultimate goal of becoming a successful entrepreneur.

Outside of academics, I’m also student-athlete, and have been involved in fencing for almost 8 years. Fencing is more than just a sport to me; it’s a significant part of my life that has taught me discipline, strategy, and the importance of staying focused. I also enjoy watching movies and playing basketball, which help me unwind and stay active.

Why did I create this website?

The reason why I created this website is because on the news, I saw the increase amount of students who came to the US due to better educations, but there are a lot of other people who might be able to study in the US, but they don't actually know. Therefore, I want help academically qualified students from lower and middle income families around the world navigate the complex U.S. college admissions process. Also, I realized that so many talented students might not know that studying in the U.S. is within their reach due to financial concerns or a lack of information.

Through EduGateway USA, I hope to inspire and assist more students for their brighter future.
